Reporting a bug

If something went wrong in a game, a few details help us find it fast:

Please don't include passwords or other sensitive personal information. We never need them.

Word suggestions

ThoughtMatch only accepts real dictionary words for secret words and clue words. That keeps games fair, but now and then a perfectly good word is missing, or an odd one slips through. If the game rejected a word you're sure is valid, or accepted one it shouldn't, send us the word and the round you were playing. We review suggestions when we update the word list.

Names of people, places and brands are left out on purpose. Clue text can mention anything you like, but the words themselves have to be ordinary words everyone can find in a dictionary.

Privacy requests

ThoughtMatch doesn't have accounts or a player database. Game data is held in memory only while a room is in use, and server logs are deleted after 14 days. If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, email us and we'll answer as quickly as we can. The privacy policy has the details.

Ideas and feedback

We love hearing how people play: house rules, settings that worked for a big group, clues that made everyone laugh. If you have an idea that would make ThoughtMatch better for your group, tell us.

Everything else

For press, partnerships or anything that doesn't fit above, the same address works: hello@thoughtmatch.online. ThoughtMatch is run by Ansh R. Suryavanshi, an independent developer in India.
